Qualifications

• Familiarity with APIs, system design basics, LLMs, SQL, or performance optimisation is highly preferred.
• 0-1 year of hands-on software development, AI, or ML experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered systems and workflows from scratch.

As a Software Engineer you will work on real-world problems at scale - designing, building, and deploying intelligent systems that directly impact business outcomes. This is a high-ownership, engineering-first role where you are expected to go beyond using AI tools and instead build, optimise, and ship production-grade solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build AI-powered systems and workflows from scratch.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, production-ready code (primarily in Python).
• Build and integrate APIs, backend services, and AI pipelines.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI-driven features.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ship high-impact solutions.
• Continuously improve system performance using data-driven insights.

Experience:

• 0-1 year of hands-on experience in software development, AI, or ML roles.
• Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem solving.
• Solid understanding of core CS fundamentals (OS, DBMS, networking basics).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, Python preferred.
• Ability to break down complex problems and think in systems.
• High ownership mindset and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong signals: competitive programming, hackathons, open-source, or deployed AI/ML and backend projects (0-1 experience).
• Familiarity with APIs, system design basics, LLMs, SQL, or performance optimisation is highly preferred.
