Location: GUJ: Ahmedabad

Job Purpose

To design, create and maintain best-in-class Infra, Upkeep and Ambience of both Large and Small Format Stores. Ensure roll out and closure of LFS and SFS per process. Maintain assets such as CCTV, HSW elements, Smart TV elements. Lead new initiatives for store layout changes to stay aligned with industry trends. Manage 460 LFS and 2460 SFS at all-India level, with responsibilities to oversee Infra, Upkeep and Ambience for ~80 LFS and ~400 SFS. Own annual budget planning for Opex and Capex (RnM, AMC, Housekeeping, etc.). Pan-India Capex and Opex responsibilities include ~50 Mn Capex and ~162 Mn Opex.

Key Accountabilities / Key Result Areas

• Standardize Retail Elements and execute/store Infra design per brand rollout guidelines; manage furniture, flooring, lighting, grooming, certificates, CCTV, and display elements; manage repairs, AMC, and replacements for LFS and SFS.
• HSW Elements & Process Management: own HSW elements and ensure activities like thermography and HSW protocols (ELCB, MCB, SPD) are executed; oversee HSW safety for ~800 FTE, ~5000 associates and partners.
• Vendor Management: manage end-to-end infra work from requirements to work orders; maintain vendors for timely implementation; coordinate with Commercial for vendor appointments and payments.
• Brand Elements Deployment: coordinate with Brand and Marketing teams.
• LFS and SFS Roll Out & Closure: own rollout and closure per guidelines in coordination with Cluster Retail Sales Heads and Service Heads; enhance partner engagement and productivity.
• Collaboration: work with Corporate and Circle Leadership (Retail, Brand, Marketing, CS) to ensure timely guidelines, close audit findings, and coordinate with Cluster BH/FH and Commercial for budget and payment support.
• Budget Management: own and execute Opex and Capex for R&M, AMC, and Housekeeping; optimize costs (including rent) with Commercial; Pan-India Opex ~162 Mn and Capex ~50 Mn responsibility.

• Infra, Upkeep, Ambience, and HSW compliance across LFS and SFS
• Timely replacement of furniture and fixtures; adherence to project timelines
• Implementation of Brand elements in coordination with Brand and Marketing
• Cost control: adherence to budget; savings from rent and AMC negotiations
• Downtimes for infra elements (CCTV, payment systems, TMS, etc.)

Budget & Design Leadership

Own annual Opex and Capex planning for Cluster stores (LFS & SFS). Lead design changes to ensure stores stay relevant to emerging needs/trends. Maintain timelines and cost targets for project rollouts.

Risks / Challenges

This role requires extensive collaboration across Cluster and Corporate functions to accelerate delivery while maintaining HSW compliance and managing Opex/Capex execution.

Direct Report / Dotted Report: Area Retail leads / SM / FL; coordinate with ARL, SM, and FL for Infra, Upkeep, Ambience, HSW, and Opex/Capex spend.
