AGM - Post Contract Management

Job Purpose

To lead the Post-Contracting Centre of Excellence (CoE), ensuring contractual obligations, SLAs and risks are monitored and governed across all businesses. The role will drive enterprise-wide Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) strategy, operating model and roadmap, including AI-enabled obligation extraction, clause libraries and playbooks. The role will also provide functional consulting to business and leadership teams on post-award contract governance and build capabilities for business contract managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise-wide CLM CoE roadmap and post-contracting success metrics.
• Lead post-contracting operations and monitor contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, renewals, penalties and variations.
• Establish governance processes and controls to reduce contract non-compliance, value leakage, missed renewals and disputes.
• Identify systemic contractual risks and recommend corrective actions and commercial improvements to business and Legal teams.
• Advise CXOs, business heads and deal teams on post-award governance models, RASCI, approval workflows and risk allocation for high-value contracts.
• Conduct periodic contract performance reviews and present dashboards covering compliance, value leakage and improvement initiatives.
• Develop governance frameworks, policies, standard operating procedures, templates and playbooks for contract managers across business units.
• Co-lead CLM and AI initiatives for clause extraction, obligation tagging and contract risk scoring.
• Develop and maintain AI prompt libraries, extraction templates and validation processes to ensure accurate and business-ready outputs.
• Establish CLM CoE capabilities through standards, training, knowledge management and maturity assessments.
• Drive improvements in contract governance, renewals, compliance and AI-assisted contract management.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Law Graduate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial contracts or legal operations.
• At least 45 years of experience leading teams, CLM platforms and post-contracting activities.
• Strong understanding of post-award contract lifecycle management, obligations management and Indian/common-law contracting.
• Hands-on experience implementing and scaling at least one enterprise-grade CLM platform, such as Icertis, Sirion or DocuSign CLM, including integrations.
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in legal or contract management, including proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership.
• Experience in infrastructure, airports or energy is preferred.
