Job summary

Elite Foods Pvt. Ltd. invites an AGM – Commodity Procurement (3P) to lead 3rd-party sourcing of FMCG food products across multiple categories and countries. The role focuses on onboarding reliable manufacturers, driving cost efficiency and ensuring timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in FMCG procurement, strong analytical acumen, and expertise in product costing, margins and regulatory compliance. Location options include Thrissur, Bengaluru or Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Business Management (required).
• 15+ years of experience in FMCG procurement and supply chain roles.
• Experience across 3P manufacturers, co-packers and contract manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3rd-party procurement and sourcing of FMCG food products (Ghee, Honey, Frozen Foods, Bakery, Biscuits, Snacks, Staples, Ready-to-Eat).
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable third-party manufacturers / co-packers for new/existing categories.
• Build and maintain a network of manufacturers based on quality, capacity, cost and compliance.
• Identify products with strong market demand and commercial potential.
• Negotiate cost, MOQ, payment terms, lead times and commercial terms with manufacturers.
• Prepare detailed product costing, margin and profitability analysis.
• Present business proposals covering procurement cost, selling price, margins and profitability.
• Identify cost-optimisation opportunities through alternate suppliers and negotiations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Quality, R&D, Finance and Supply Chain for product development and commercialisation.
• Coordinate product sampling, trials, quality approvals and finalisation.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost and delivery.
• Continuously identify new manufacturers and product opportunities to expand FMCG portfolio.
