Qualifications

• Mandatory Scrum certification: PSM or CSM.
• Proven experience delivering Data & Analytics projects with AWS, Databricks, Tableau (BI) and ETL/Data Integration platforms.
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams and Jira boards.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple Agile projects while ensuring delivery commitments, quality, productivity, and timelines.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including PI planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives using Jira/Confluence.
• Ensure Epics, Features, and User Stories are well-structured with clear acceptance criteria and context.
• Coach and mentor delivery teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders to define priorities and ensure successful delivery.
• Manage scope, risks, dependencies and track issue resolution.
• Track progress with Agile metrics and prepare status reports for reviews.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager/ Agile Delivery Lead with a strong background in Agile delivery, Scrum practices, and business-oriented thinking within Data & Analytics programs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience leading cross-functional teams, driving end-to-end agile project delivery, developing a strong functional understanding of the data products and managing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the Pharma & Life Sciences domain and working with modern cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Databricks and Tableau (BI) is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple Agile projects while ensuring delivery commitments, quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Quarterly PI planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives with effective use of Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
• Ensure Epics, Features, and User Stories are well-structured, appropriately linked, and include clear acceptance criteria, dependencies, and sufficient business and technical context.
• Coach and mentor delivery teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery excellence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Engineering teams, QA, and business stakeholders to define priorities and ensure successful delivery with geographically distributed teams.
• Manage project scope with available team capacity, identify risks & dependencies and track issue resolution.
• Track project progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, release burndown, cycle time, and team capacity.
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates in Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Develop a strong functional understanding of data products and perform user-level validation of delivered features to ensure business expectations are met.
• Understand business challenges and proactively drive solution-oriented thinking throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Leverage approved AI tools to improve delivery productivity, planning, documentation, and quality, while encouraging engineering teams to adopt AI-assisted best practices where appropriate.
• Continuously build sufficient functional and technical knowledge of the platform to participate in meaningful discussions with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders, rather than limiting the role to delivery coordination.
• Flexible to work in a global onsite-offshore delivery model, ensuring adequate overlap with customer time zones to support effective collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years as a Technical Project Lead, Agile Delivery Lead, or Scrum Master.
• Mandatory Scrum certification:
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Proven experience delivering Data & Analytics projects with a strong working understanding of technologies such as:
  • AWS, Databricks
  • Tableau or similar BI platforms
  • ETL/Data Integration platforms
  • Diagramming tools such as Lucidchart and Microsoft Visio
• Experience managing multiple Agile teams and Jira boards simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and leadership skills

Preferred Experience

• Prior hands-on experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Technical Lead, or Software Engineer before transitioning into Agile Delivery is highly preferred.
• Experience presenting delivery updates, risks, and roadmap progress to senior business and technology stakeholders
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar Agile project management tools.
