Job summary

Sigmoid in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive Agile delivery for large-scale data and analytics programs. You will lead cross-functional teams through Scrum, SAFe, and end-to-end delivery management to achieve measurable business outcomes for global clients.

The role emphasizes sprint excellence, PI planning, governance, and strong stakeholder communication, with hands-on guidance in Jira, Azure DevOps, and related tools to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 12 to 18 years of experience in Project Management / Scrum Master roles.
• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience leading multiple cross-functional Agile teams on large-scale programs.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or product development environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for multiple cross-functional teams delivering data engineering, BI, and analytics solutions.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and well-defined user stories.
• Track and improve Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, predictability) and ensure sprint discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
• Lead and facilitate SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies.
• Drive Program Increment (PI) Planning, including preparation, execution, and stakeholder alignment.
• Monitor and present PI progress, risks, and delivery metrics to leadership.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment across multiple squads.
• Own end-to-end delivery across all SDLC stages for complex data/analytics programs.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure delivery aligns with business goals and client expectations.
• Drive release planning, sequencing, and execution across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, leadership teams, and change control boards.
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and insights to senior management.
• Manage risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely mitigation.
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and delivery standards.
• Work extensively with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Kendis.
• Maintain transparency through dashboards, reports, and Agile tracking tools.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, Product Owners, and engineering managers.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe framework.
• Contribute to Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives and drive Agile adoption.
