Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 7-8 years in AEM projects with 4+ years in AEM developments and project execution.
• Strong Java programming foundation with hands-on experience in workflows, OSGi Service, Sling servlet, Sling Jobs, REST, JSON, SOAP.
• Exposure to Coral/Granite UI and Adobe UI customization.
• Deep knowledge of AEM security, access controls and cloud experience (AEM 6.5+ or newer).
• Hands-on with Templates/Components/Sightly, Sling models, Content Fragments/Experience Fragments, and JSON exporter APIs.
• Understanding of FE code mapping to Sightly, plus JavaScript and CSS proficiency.
• Experience with dispatcher, SEO concepts, accessibility guidelines, and large-scale web apps integration.

Job description

AEM SME (Analyst) JD

Must have:

• At least 7-8 years with AEM projects with at least 4+ years into AEM developments and handling of AEM projects.
• Strong Java programming foundation and hands on workflows, OSGI Service, Sling servlet, Sling Jobs, REST, JSON, SOAP based architecture.
• Exposure to Coral / Granite UI, Adobe UI customization is a must
• Deep understanding of AEM's security along with its Access Controls
• Must have worked on AEM 6.5+ or newer versions with good experience in both AEM sites and assets projects plus hand-on with AEM as a Cloud experience is required.
• Strong working experience in building Templates/Components/Sightly / Sling models/ Content fragments/ Experience fragments. Experience in exposure of authored content via Content fragment and JSON exporter APIs is desirable.
• Understanding FE code for html to sightly mapping, good with JavaScript, and CSS understanding is a must have.
• Understanding of core AEM components such as oak, sling and dispatcher, dispatcher filter rules etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution using Junit5 and building tools such as Maven
• Experience with working in Azure DevOps, GitHub, GIT commands and experience with working with a larger team with and have minimal code conflicts.
• Experience building large scale web applications integrating with various backend services.
• Proficient in managing dispatcher updates, understanding the content request flow mechanics.
• Good understanding of SEO, Web accessibility standards & guidelines etc are desirable.
• Work with project managers and Product owners, project/country stakeholders to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality.
• Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, FE, PO and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the task at hand and involve in discovery sessions etc.
• Good communication skills and ready to work with stakeholders from different countries & geographies and document and understand core technical processes.

Good to have:

• Other CMS experiences like WordPress CMS will be an added advantage.
• Ready to adapt to new ways of working and flexible to shift to projects with ease.
• Understanding of other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions like like Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics.
• AEM cloud service MCPs knowledge.
• Developing AI SKILLs and agents to automate development work and bring faster outcomes for self/team.
