Job summary

Eduplex Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced AEM Architect with 14+ years of IT experience and deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager. You will define and drive AEM architecture for large-scale implementations, lead complex projects, and guide engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure digital experiences.

You will engage with clients at an architectural level, oversee AEM sites and assets, and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and cloud strategies.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have 14+ years of IT experience with significant AEM exposure.
• Hands-on AEM expertise, including architecture and delivery guidance.
• Experience with AEM 6.5 and/or AEMaaCS and cloud integration.
• Strong Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR/Oak, HTL/Sightly skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and cloud platforms.
• Experience leading large enterprise deployments and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall AEM solution architecture for enterprise-scale implementations.
• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of AEM-based platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across AEM Sites, Assets, and related Adobe tech.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance AEM solutions (AEM 6.5 / AEMaaCS).
• Define integration architecture between AEM and enterprise systems and APIs.
• Lead DevOps collaboration on CI/CD, cloud infra, and release management.
• Mentor senior developers and architects; ensure security and governance compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile : -

• The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Architect rather than purely a people manager, capable of engaging with clients at an architectural level while also diving into technical details when required.
• They should have experience owning large-scale AEM implementations and guiding engineering teams through complex architecture and delivery challenges.

Job Requirements & Skills : -

• 14+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in AEM.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Expertise in AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR/Oak, HTL/Sightly.
• Strong understanding of AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience designing REST/API‑based integrations and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of AEM authoring, workflows, MSM, editable templates, components, content fragments, and experience fragments.
• Experience with AEM Assets/DAM is preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably AWS/Azure.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and distributed/global teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management, and technical leadership skills.

Good to Have : -

• Adobe certifications such as Adobe Certified Expert/Professional AEM.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch/Tags, or Commerce.
• Experience with headless CMS architecture, GraphQL, React/Angular, or SPA frameworks.
• Experience in AEM migration, modernization, and cloud adoption.
• Experience in defining enterprise architecture and technical roadmaps.

Job Key Responsibilities : -

• Define and own the overall AEM solution architecture for enterprise-scale implementations.
• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of AEM-based digital experience platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across AEM Sites, Assets, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Headless/SPA architectures, and related Adobe technologies.
• Design scalable and high-performance AEM solutions using AEM 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Define integration architecture between AEM and enterprise systems, APIs, third‑party applications, and other Adobe products.
• Provide expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL/Sightly, Dispatcher, REST APIs and Microservices.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Review solution designs and provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Identify performance, scalability, security, and reliability considerations and drive appropriate solutions.
• Lead AEM migration and modernization initiatives, including on‑premise/AMS to AEM Cloud Service where applicable.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, deployment strategies, and release management.
• Conduct technical POCs and evaluate new technologies and Adobe capabilities.
• Mentor senior developers and architects and contribute to technical capability building.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and architecture standards.
