eClerx is seeking an experienced AEM Front End Developer in Bengaluru to contribute 6+ years of software experience, including 3+ years in AEM. You will develop reusable AEM components, author HTL templates, and optimize front-end assets with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and JavaScript ES6+ to deliver scalable digital experiences.
The role involves working with AEM Client Libraries, Dispatcher, and cloud services, with a focus on performance, multilingual/localization, and modern build tools.
6+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with strong front‑end development expertise.
Experience developing reusable AEM components using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and Core Components.
Strong knowledge of AEM Client Libraries (Clientlibs), Granite UI dialogs, Experience Fragments, and Content Fragments.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive web development.
Experience integrating front‑end assets from ui.frontend and optimizing CSS/JS loading.
Good understanding of AEM Style System, proxy components, and component customization.
Experience working with AEM Dispatcher, caching strategies, cache invalidation, and rewrite rules.
Knowledge of AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
Experience troubleshooting page performance issues and implementing optimization techniques such as lazy loading, minification, and browser/CDN caching.
Understanding of HTL templating concepts and best practices.
Experience implementing multilingual websites, localization (i18n), and RTL language support.
Knowledge of AEM security concepts including XSS protection and secure API integrations.
Exposure to headless AEM, Sling Model Exporter, Content Fragments, and JSON APIs.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud integrations, including Adobe Analytics and ECID.
Strong JavaScript skills including async/await, API integrations, and debugging.
Experience with Git, Maven, Node.js, npm/yarn, Webpack, and modern front‑end build tools.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Manager, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar deployment tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
Experience with frameworks like React/Vue/Angular (a plus).
Adobe AEM certification and enterprise‑scale project experience will be an added advantage.
