Role Description

The Advocate will provide legal advice, draft documents, and represent clients in a variety of matters, including consultations, negotiations, and dispute resolution. Daily responsibilities include researching case law and statutes, preparing pleadings, contracts, and opinions, reviewing and organizing case files, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role involves coordinating with colleagues and clients, participating in virtual meetings, and ensuring timely follow-up on ongoing matters. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable availability during standard working hours and adherence to professional and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, notices, and legal opinions.
• Effective advocacy, negotiation, and client advisory skills, with a focus on clear, professional communication.

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B or equivalent) and eligibility to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
