Job summary

Dentsu Performance Studio in Bangalore seeks a creative Advertising Director to lead high‑converting performance video ads for leading brands. You will translate creative strategies into impactful social content with strong storytelling and audience engagement.

You will manage end‑to‑end production, from shoot planning to post‑production, collaborate with creative strategists, DOPs and production teams, and ensure on‑time delivery at scale while upholding quality.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in advertising agencies, directing or video production.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, UGC and performance content.
• Creative vision with storytelling and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Advertising Director to join Dentsu Performance Studio, specialising in creating high-converting performance video ads for leading brands. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media content, visual storytelling, and the ability to translate creative strategies into impactful video advertisements.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct UGC, performance-driven, DVC, Hi-fi and Lo-fi video advertisements for social media platforms.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategists, DOPs, and Production teams to translate storyboards into compelling visual content.
• Manage end-to-end pre-production and production activities, including shoot planning, locations, models, props, and shot division.
• Ensure smooth shoot execution and maintain quality standards while adhering to timelines.
• Coordinate with post-production teams on editing styles, transitions, effects, and creative treatments.
• Maintain and update a library of creative references, master shots, and advertising inspirations.
• Manage multiple shoots and ensure consistent production delivery at scale.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in advertising agencies, preferably in ad direction or video production.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, UGC, and performance-driven video content.
• Creative vision and storytelling skills with an understanding of audience engagement and retention.
• Ability to work closely with creative, strategy, production, and post-production teams.
• Strong ownership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience directing UGC or Meta Ads will be an added advantage.
