Job summary

Dentsu Performance Studio in Bengaluru seeks an Advertising Director to lead high-converting performance video ads for top brands. You will translate creative strategies into social-first campaigns, guiding production from concept to final cut.

You’ll work with Creative Strategists, DOPs, and production teams to ensure scalable shoots, strong storytelling, and optimized audiences on Instagram Reels and Meta Ads, delivering impact across formats and platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in advertising agencies with a focus on directing video ads.

• Creative vision and storytelling skills with audience engagement insights.

Responsibilities

• Direct UGC, performance-driven, DVC, Hi-fi and Lo-fi video advertisements for social media platforms.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategists, DOPs, and Production teams to translate storyboards into compelling visual content.
• Manage end-to-end pre-production and production activities, including shoot planning, locations, models, props, and shot division.
• Ensure smooth shoot execution and maintain quality standards while adhering to timelines.
• Coordinate with post-production teams on editing styles, transitions, effects, and creative treatments.
• Maintain and update a library of creative references, master shots, and advertising inspirations.
• Manage multiple shoots and ensure consistent production delivery at scale.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media content, visual storytelling, and the ability to translate creative strategies into impactful video advertisements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct UGC, performance-driven, DVC, Hi-fi and Lo-fi video advertisements for social media platforms.


• Collaborate with Creative Strategists, DOPs, and Production teams to translate storyboards into compelling visual content.


• Manage end-to-end pre-production and production activities, including shoot planning, locations, models, props, and shot division.


• Ensure smooth shoot execution and maintain quality standards while adhering to timelines.


• Coordinate with post-production teams on editing styles, transitions, effects, and creative treatments.


• Maintain and update a library of creative references, master shots, and advertising inspirations.


• Manage multiple shoots and ensure consistent production delivery at scale.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in advertising agencies, preferably in ad direction or video production.


• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, UGC, and performance-driven video content.


• Creative vision and storytelling skills with an understanding of audience engagement and retention.


• Ability to work closely with creative, strategy, production, and post-production teams.


• Strong ownership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.


• Prior experience directing UGC or Meta Ads will be an added advantage.
