Job summary

Zerozilla Technologies is seeking an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) specialist to design and orchestrate omnichannel journeys. You will implement triggers, manage channel configurations, and ensure data readiness in AEP for journey activation.

Prospective candidates should have hands-on AJO/AEP experience, robust email development skills (HTML/CSS), and ability to troubleshoot data, delivery, and profile issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time Customer Profile, schemas, datasets, identities, audiences.
• Experience building complex customer journeys and omnichannel campaigns.
• Knowledge of email development, HTML/CSS, personalization, and dynamic content.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure AJO journeys, campaigns, events, conditions, and audience-based orchestration.
• Build and manage email, SMS, push, and other channel configurations within AJO.
• Develop reusable email templates, fragments, content blocks, and personalization rules.
• Configure and troubleshoot AEP schemas, datasets, identities, profiles, and audiences required for AJO use cases.
• Implement journey triggers using AEP events, APIs, streaming data, and batch audiences.
• Work with RTCDP/AEP teams to ensure audience qualification and profile data are available for journey activation.
• Configure decisioning, eligibility rules, frequency caps, suppression rules, and business rules.
• Support integrations between AJO and systems such as AEM, Adobe Target, CRM, data platforms, and external APIs.
• Perform end-to-end testing of journeys, personalization, audience qualification, and message delivery.
• Troubleshoot failed journeys, data issues, delivery errors, and profile/audience qualification problems.
• Support deployment and promotion of AJO configurations across development, staging, and production environments.
• Monitor live journeys and help optimize performance, delivery, and customer experience.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, marketers, QA, and data engineering teams.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of email development, HTML/CSS, personalization, and dynamic content.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, event-driven integrations, and data mapping.
• Understanding of consent, suppression, communication preferences, and marketing compliance.
• Experience troubleshooting AJO/AEP implementations using platform monitoring and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud, including AEM, Adobe Target, CJA, or RTCDP, is preferred.

Experience

• 3 5+ years of Adobe Experience Cloud / marketing technology experience.
• 1 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer or AEP implementation experience.
• Adobe AEP/AJO certification is a plus.
