Job summary

One Degree Advisory seeks a Europe Counsellor with 3–4 years of experience in study abroad counselling. You will guide students and parents on European destinations, shortlist programs, and manage visa-related steps with a focus on meeting enrolment targets.

Experience with UK, Singapore, Malaysia or UAE counselling is a plus. Benefits and compensation will be discussed during the conversation.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of study abroad counselling experience.
• Knowledge of several European country processes (visa, admissions, deadlines).
• Clear communication with students and parents; comfortable with targets.

Responsibilities

• Speak with students/parents about study options in Europe and advise on country, course, intake.
• Shortlist universities/programs and guide through applications, SOPs, LORs, and documents.
• Manage country-specific requirements (blocked accounts, APS, uni‑assist, language certificates, deadlines).
• Prepare students for visa filing and interviews and support until decision.
• Keep records in CRM and ensure follow-ups are up to date.
• Track changes in fees, visa rules, and admission requirements and inform team.
• Collaborate with counselling team to meet monthly enrolment targets.

We're hiring a Europe Counsellor at One Degree Advisory.

If you've spent a few years helping students get into universities in Germany, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Finland or Poland,Austria and you know how each country's process actually works, we'd like to talk to you.

What the job looks like day to day:

• Speaking with students and parents about study options across Europe, and telling them honestly which country, course and intake suits their profile and budget
• Shortlisting universities and programs, then guiding students through applications, SOPs, LORs and document checklists
• Handling country-specific requirements: blocked accounts, APS, Campus France, uni-assist, language certificates, intake deadlines
• Preparing students for visa filing and interviews, and staying with them until the decision comes
• Keeping student records and follow-ups updated in the CRM so nothing slips
• Tracking changes in fees, visa rules and admission requirements, and passing them on to the team
• Working with the counselling team to meet monthly enrolment targets

Who we're looking for:

Someone with 3 to 4 years of study abroad counselling experience and working knowledge of several European countries. We don't mean a list of university names. We mean knowing how the process runs when a document gets rejected or a deadline moves. You communicate clearly with students and parents, you're fine with targets, and you don't promise outcomes you can't control.

Experience counselling for the UK, Singapore, Malaysia or the UAE is a plus.
