Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) invites a skilled AWS Analyst to join our infrastructure cloud team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on automating cloud deployments, improving operational efficiency, and enabling developers with scalable, resilient services.

You will work with Lambda, EC2, ELB, Route 53, CloudTrail, VPC, and IAM, using Terraform and Python to build robust infrastructure. A strong appetite for learning new cloud technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with the most used cloud managed services (Lambda, EC2, ELB, Route 53, CloudTrail, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency in Python development and scripting.
• Terraform is a must for infrastructure as code.
• Willingness to learn cutting-edge technologies and adapt to evolving platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop utilities and tools to automate and simplify management tasks.
• Build and maintain Terraform scripts to deploy AWS resources and configurations.
• Proactively monitor system functionality, performance, and issues.
• Review design/architecture docs for operability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Stay updated on cloud tech trends and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and reduce toil and debt to lower operations load.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Analyst to join our infrastructure cloud team. The infrastructure cloud team is responsible for internal services that provide developer collaboration tools, the build and release pipeline, and shared AWS cloud services platform. The infrastructure cloud team enables engineers to build product features and efficiently and confidently them into production.

Responsibilities

• Develop utilities or furthering existing application and system management tools and processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency
• Build and maintain Terraform and scripts to automate and deploy AWS resources and configuration changes
• Proactively monitor system functionality, performance, and configuration issues.
• Experience reviewing and refining design and architecture documents presented by teams for operational readiness, fault tolerance and scalability
• Monitor and research cloud technologies and stay current with trends in the industry
• Participate in an on-call rotation and identify opportunities for reducing toil and avoiding technical debt to reduce support and operations load.

Knowledge and Experience

The applicant is expected to have the following skills and experience on appointment:

• Understanding of the most used managed services in the cloud such as Lambda, EC2, ELB, Route 53, CloudTrail, VPC, IAM etc. (or the equivalent in Azure or GCP)
• Python understanding.
• Terraform is a must
• Hunger to learn new cutting-edge technology
