Suraksha Diagnostics in Kolkata is seeking a Maintenance Executive to ensure 100% uptime of the facility’s power, HVAC and water systems while upholding hospital-grade hygiene standards. The role involves supervising housekeeping, managing AMC vendors, and ensuring safety and compliance across the center.

You will oversee NABL/NABH readiness, maintain detailed logs, and drive 24/7 operations to support uninterrupted diagnostic services in a high-demand medical setting.

Qualifications

• To ensure 100% uptime of facility infrastructure (Power, HVAC, Water) and maintain hospital-grade hygiene standards.
• Safety and compliance with NABL/NABH inspection readiness.
• Shift supervision of housekeeping roster and daily operation readiness.

Responsibilities

• Power & Backup: 24/7 power stability; oversee DG, UPS and electrical panels.
• HVAC Systems: maintenance of AHUs and split ACs with controlled lab and radiology temperatures.
• Plumbing: maintain water supply systems and medical gas where applicable.
• Vendor Management: coordinate with AMC providers for elevators, fire safety, HVAC.
• Housekeeping & Hygiene: enforce sterilization protocols and BMW compliance.
• Safety & Compliance: regular fire extinguisher checks and monthly drills.
• Audit readiness: maintain logs and registers for NABL/NABH inspections.
• Documentation: update daily/weekly checklists and daily security registers.

Job Title: Maintenance Executive

Reports to: Center Manager / Asst Mgr Maintenance

Direct Reports: Housekeeping Staff, Multi-skilled Technicians (Electrician/Plumber), Security

1. Job Purpose

To ensure 100% uptime of the facilitys infrastructure (Power, HVAC, Water) and maintain \"Hospital Grade\" hygiene standards. You are responsible for ensuring that the patient environment is safe, sterile, and fully functional at all times.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Facility & Asset Maintenance

• Power & Backup: Ensure 24/7 power stability. Oversee daily checks of the Diesel Generator (DG), UPS systems, and electrical panels to prevent disruption during critical scans like MRIs or CTs.
• HVAC Systems: Manage the maintenance of AHUs (Air Handling Units) and split ACs, ensuring specific temperature controls for the laboratory and radiology suites.
• Plumbing: Maintain water supply systems and any medical gas (if applicable).
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) providers for high-end equipment like elevators, fire safety systems, and HVAC.

B. Housekeeping & Hygiene Management

• Sterilization Protocols: Implement and monitor deep-cleaning schedules for high-touch areas (Reception, Phlebotomy, Radiology rooms).
• Bio-Medical Waste (BMW): Ensure 100% compliance with BMW management rules, including correct segregation in color-coded bins and timely pickup by authorized vendors.
• Shift Supervision: Manage the housekeeping roster to ensure the center is \"7:00 AM Ready\" for the morning fasting rush.

C. Safety & Compliance

• Fire Safety: Conduct regular fire extinguisher checks and lead monthly fire drills for center staff.
• Audit Readiness: Maintain all logs and registers for NABL/NABH inspections, including temperature logs, cleaning checklists, and pest control records.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Zero Downtime: No disruption in diagnostic services due to power or utility failure.
• TAT (Turnaround Time): Resolution of internal facility complaints (e.g., a fused light or a leaking tap) within 2 hours.
• Audit Score: 100% compliance in Housekeeping and Facility audits during surprise inspections.
• Utility Cost Control: Efficient management of electricity and water consumption compared to the previous quarter. Efficient Housekeeping material consumption.
• Update daily & weekly checklists in Pazo portal on regular basis
• Security Registers to be updated on a daily basis and ensure that no material leaves the centre without proper approvals.
