MetLife's Modeling Actuarial Solutions team in India (Dadri) is building and deploying Prophet-based actuarial models to meet regional objectives. You will implement Prophet models, contribute to testing, and maintain robust model controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration with local country counterparts, documentation, and training materials to support valuation processes and ensure high-quality model delivery.

Responsibilities

• Implement Prophet model in accordance with internal and external requirements with support from team members.
• Resolve difficult technical issues encountered during implementation for local countries and explain variances observed.
• Communicate to local countries counterparts regularly on issues during the project and understand root causes.
• Design training materials and model documentation for the new model.
• Work closely with local countries in designing optimal valuation processes using the new model.
• Perform testing activities to ensure quality assurance to the customer.
• Enforce efficient model controls and maintain good model support after implementation.

Description and Requirements

Modeling Actuarial Solutions team is the central actuarial modelling, testing and production in MetLife. The team is responsible for delivering actuarial modeling solutions in accordance to enterprise & regional objectives by building robust, scalable actuarial solutions and to further increase the coverage for the use of Prophet within the organization, whilst enforcing MetLife's Global Actuarial Modeling Prophet standards and MetLife's Actuarial Practices.
