Job summary

MetLife's Modeling Actuarial Solutions team leads actuarial modelling, testing and production, delivering Prophet-based solutions aligned with enterprise and regional objectives.

The team builds robust, scalable models, enforces Prophet standards, and collaborates with local country teams to support valuation processes, quality assurance and ongoing model governance as MetLife pursues an AI-enabled, people-centered future.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Prophet model in accordance with internal and external requirements, with support from team members.
• Resolving difficult technical issues encountered during implementation for local countries and explaining variances observed.
• Communicating with local country counterparts regularly on issues arising during the project and understanding root causes.
• Designing training materials and model documentation of the new model.
• Working closely with local countries in designing optimal valuation processes using the new model.
• Performing testing activities to provide quality assurance to the customer.
• Enforcing efficient model controls and maintaining good model support after implementation.

Description and Requirements

Modeling Actuarial Solutions team is the central actuarial modelling, testing and production in MetLife. The team is responsible for delivering actuarial modeling solutions in accordance to enterprise & regional objectives by building robust, scalable actuarial solutions and to further increase the coverage for the use of Prophet within the organization, whilst enforcing MetLife's Global Actuarial Modeling Prophet standards and MetLife's Actuarial Practices.
