Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking an IAM / Active Directory (AD) Specialist for Bengaluru with 3–6 years of experience. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and administering AD and Azure AD environments, with emphasis on migrations and modern authentication.

Responsibilities include daily AD administration, GPO management, and hybrid cloud integrations. Proficiency with PowerShell and security controls such as MFA and conditional access is required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience designing, implementing and administering AD and Azure AD environments.
• Experience leading inter-forest migrations and AD upgrades using Quest/ADMT.
• Proficient in Group Policy design, DNS/DHCP, and AD replication.
• Hands-on with Windows Server administration (on‑prem and Azure AD).
• Knowledge of MFA, conditional access, SSO protocols (SAML/OIDC).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer Active Directory, Azure AD, and Azure ADDS.
• Daily AD object maintenance, troubleshooting Windows Server, DNS, authentication, and domain controllers.
• Lead inter-forest migrations and AD Connect deployments/upgrades.
• Manage GPOs, OU structure, DNS zones, backups and restores.
• Migrate legacy LDAP/LDAPS apps; collaborate with app teams.
• Set up and troubleshoot AD, DNS, GPOs, and security measures.
• Understand FSMO roles, AD functional levels, replication.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation for AD environments.
• Configure Azure AD identity management, MFA, conditional access, and SSO.
• Design Azure B2B/B2C policies and hybrid domain join.
• Automate operations with PowerShell scripting.

Job Title: IAM / Active Directory (AD) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer Active Directory, Azure AD, and Azure ADDS
• Perform daily administration: AD object maintenance, troubleshooting on Windows Server (2016/2019), DNS, authentication, Domain Controllers
• Lead inter-forest migration (user/resource), using tools like Quest or ADMT; handle AD Connect deployments and upgrades
• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), OU structure, DNS zones, AD migration, backup & restore
• Migrate legacy apps relying on LDAP/LDAPS, NTLM, Kerberos; collaborate with application teams
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AD, DNS, GPOs, and AD security measures
• Understand and manage FSMO roles, AD functional levels, Domain Sites & replication
• Maintain documentation: AD environments, processes, policies, operational runbooks
• Handle Azure AD identity management: configure Azure AD, Azure ADDS, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), permission models, Azure Connect, synchronization, identity governance, MFA, conditional access, identity protection
• Set up Azure B2B/B2C policies, hybrid domain join configurations
• Automate routine operations via PowerShell scripting

Technical Experience

1. Solid experience with AD architecture & infrastructure
2. Familiarity with Azure HCI
3. Knowledge of Empower ID
4. Expertise in AD forest implementation
5. Experience with AD migration and upgrade projects (Quest/ADMT, AD Connect)
6. Hands-on with Windows Server administration and both onprem and Azure AD
7. Skilled in GPO design, AD replication, and management
8. Deep understanding of Azure AD architecture and maintenance
9. Proficient with Active Directory Sites & Services, migrations
10. Integration of applications using modern authentication (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
11. Experience with Azure AD App Proxy, MFA, conditional access, DNS, DHCP, SMTP
12. Familiarity with Microsoft PKI technologies
13. Skilled in implementing and managing ADFS and certificate infrastructures
