Job summary

Algoleap Technologies Pvt Ltd requires an AD Administrator (L2) to manage and support Active Directory services onsite in Hyderabad. The role focuses on AD promotion, GP management, DNS/DHCP, and security hardening per CIS benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FSMO roles, OU design, DC health checks, backups, and PowerShell scripting to automate routine AD tasks.

Qualifications

Experience in AD promotion and migration.
Group Policy management experience is required.
AD replication troubleshooting skills are mandatory.
PowerShell scripting proficiency for AD tasks.
DNS and DHCP troubleshooting and management.
Certificate Authority understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and manage directory infrastructure, including FSMO roles, trusts, and Kerberos.
Create OU hierarchies with standard sub-OUs, groups, and security permissions.
Monitor domain controllers, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relations.
Review DC event and security logs and take corrective actions.
Backups and restores on domain controllers.
PowerShell scripting for AD automation.
AD replication troubleshooting and migration across versions.
GPO management and domain controller hardening per CIS benchmarks.
End-user and endpoint hardening knowledge and DNS records management.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced AD Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in managing and supporting AD Servers, Group Policy,

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Creation and management of directory infrastructure Includes FSMO roles, trusts, Kerberos
2) Creation of all top-level OU hierarchies with LBL standard sub-OUs, groups, and appropriate security permissions. This includes adding the OU Admins to the Add Computers group, Group Policy Creator Owners group, and OU Admins mail list. It also includes setting appropriate permissions on the created objects and linking of default GPOs.
3) Monitoring and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain
a. AD daily health checkup
b. Day-to-day management of the domain controllers roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relationships
d. Review DC event and security logs and take corrective actions
e. Backups and restores on domain controllers
f. AD site and link
