Job summary

Birlasoft in Bengaluru is seeking an senior IT infrastructure professional with deep hands-on expertise in Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud integration. You will manage AD DS across on-prem and cloud, implement AD Connect, administer AD FS and GPOs, and enforce security policies within a large enterprise environment.

You should have 10+ years of AD experience, strong PowerShell skills, and extensive M365 operations knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Windows Active Directory Administration (AD DS) with hands-on exposure to Azure AD / AD Connect.
• Experience with AD FS, GPO administration and management.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and enterprise M365 / O365 operations including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities

• At least 10+ years of experience in Windows Active Directory Administration (AD DS) 2012/2016/2019/2022, including AD, DNS, Certificate Services, DFS, Site Services, replication, migrations of core Active Directory, Domain Controllers, with hands-on exposure to Azure AD / AD Connect, AD Federation Services and cloud services.
• AD FS, GPO administration and management.
• Provides day-to-day project support for infrastructure activities with emphasis on achieving goals.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with PowerShell; exposure to Shell/Bash is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of enterprise M365 and O365 operations, including MS Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
• Hands-on experience with ManageEngine AD Audit Plus is an added advantage.
• Develop detailed schematics for new installations and for upgrades, migrations, or integrations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive with minimal guidance and a can-do attitude.
• Willingness to work stretched shifts, 24/7, odd hours and weekends as required.
• Knowledge of data center systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis, system/solution design, testing, and installation.
• Strong working knowledge of server hardware.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request).
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, ChangeGear, Jira, etc.
• MCSA, Azure Administrator 104, or any cloud certification is an added advantage.
