Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Windows Systems Administration in enterprise environments.

• Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE and Microsoft 365 Certified are preferred.
• Experience with AD disaster recovery strategies and cloud integrations (Azure AD/AWS Directory Services).

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows and Active Directory Administrator with Automation expertise to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of Windows Servers and Active Directory environments to support scalable and secure enterprise platforms.

This role requires deep knowledge of MS Windows, Active Directory, automation, and infrastructure-as-code principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets performance, availability, and security standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Windows Server environments with 6-8 years of system administration experience
• Support and maintain large-scale Active Directory infrastructures in enterprise environments
• Configure and manage Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Windows clustering
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools
• Design and implement Automation solutions for directory service operations
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to Active Directory authentication, replication, and federation services
• Maintain DFS configurations including DFS-R replication troubleshooting
• Administer NTFS permissions and SMB Share configurations
• Execute bulk AD migrations: User/Object synchronization, domain consolidation, and forest restructuring
• Provide root cause analysis (RCA) for Active Directory and Windows Server incidents
• Document processes and ensure compliance with security standards

File Systems Management

• Configure and troubleshoot Windows File Services
• Handle bulk data migrations between storage systems
• Optimize fileshare performance and capacity planning
• Manage logical access controls for enterprise file systems

Key Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Systems Administration
• 4+ years of Active Directory design/implementation in enterprise environments
• 2+ years of infrastructure Automation experience (PowerShell/Python required)
• Expertise in:
  • Active Directory architecture (Domains, Forests, Trusts)
  • Group Policy management and troubleshooting
  • ADFS/Azure AD Connect implementations
  • LDAP and Kerberos authentication flows
• Certifications preferred: MCSA/MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
• Experience with AD disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions
• Knowledge of public cloud integrations (Azure AD/AWS Directory Services)
