Job summary

SRS Infoway in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage enterprise Active Directory across multiple domains and forests, and to design, implement, and support Nutanix HCI environments. You will oversee AD services, VM provisioning, patching, and security compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Active Directory infrastructure across multiple domains and forests.
• Manage Domain Controllers, replication health, FSMO roles, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Perform Active Directory installations, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
• Toubleshoot authentication, LDAP, Kerberos, Group Policy, and replication-related issues.
• Implement and maintain Active Directory security standards and compliance requirements.
• Design, implement, and support Nutanix HCI infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and administer Nutanix Prism Central, Prism Element, and AHV environments.
• Monitor Nutanix cluster health, performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
• Perform cluster expansion, node additions, software upgrades, and lifecycle management operations.
• Troubleshoot Nutanix compute, storage, networking, and virtualization components.
• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions within Nutanix environments.
• Create and manage virtual machines, templates, snapshots, and backup integrations.
• Coordinate with storage, network, security, and application teams for infrastructure support activities.
• Manage operating system patching and ensure security compliance across supported infrastructure.
• Handle incident, problem, change, and service request activities following ITIL best practices.
• Open and manage support cases with Microsoft, Nutanix, and other third-party vendors.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for high-priority incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Develop infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Support infrastructure modernization, automation, and cloud integration initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure design discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and support teams.
• Work effectively with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders across different time zones.
• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, leadership, and a commitment to service excellence.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Ansible / PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Nutanix Cloud Manager, Flow, Files, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms is an added advantage.
• Understanding of storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and iSCSI.
• Experience supporting enterprise datacenter transformation and migration projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring team members and driving technical initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to facilitate discussions, manage customer expectations, and deliver successful outcomes.
