Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a visionary Chief Financial Officer to guide the organisation's financial strategy from India. You will lead planning, budgeting, ERP initiatives, and capital allocation to strengthen profitability and stakeholder value.

You will ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements, drive cost optimization, risk management, and finance automation while partnering with the MD/Board to enable sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Experience directing financial planning, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Strong leadership in compliance across tax, GST, FEMA, SEZ and corporate act.
• Proven ability to drive cost efficiency and stakeholder value.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, ERP and budgeting across verticals.
• Support MD/Board with data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
• Oversee consolidation, cash flow management and working capital.
• Ensure statutory, regulatory, and audit compliance (Companies Act, Tax, GST, FEMA, SEZ, etc.).
• Negotiate and manage credit facilities, working capital and trade finance.
• Capital fundraising, optimize allocation, funding costs and FX exposures.
• Analyze finances to identify profit improvements and efficiencies.
• Implement internal controls, risk management and financial policies.
• Drive automation and digital transformation in financial ops.

Position Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for directing and overseeing all financial and strategic planning aspects of the organization. The role demands a visionary finance leader who can strengthen financial discipline, drive cost efficiency, ensure compliances & litigation related to Income Tax, GST, FEMA, SEZ and Companies Act, manage risks, and support the company’s long-term growth, profitability, and stakeholder value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, ERP and budgeting exercises across business verticals.
• Support the Founder, Managing Director and Board in strategic decision-making through data-driven financial insights and business analytics.
• Oversee consolidation of accounts, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, SEZ, etc. including TP(AE) related matters.
• Negotiate and manage credit facilities, working capital arrangements, and trade finance instruments.
• Capital Fund raising, Optimize capital allocation, funding costs, and foreign exchange exposures to International Transactions.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify profit improvement areas and operational efficiencies.
• Implement internal control systems, risk management frameworks, and financial policies in line with best practices.
• Drive automation, digital transformation, and process efficiency in financial operations.
