Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the billing system in SAP S/4HANA.
• Generate invoices and account statements for energy supplies based on meter readings.
• Interact with clients for payment follow-ups, invoice support, and to share and collect NDCs.
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records.
• Produce monthly financial and management reports.
• Investigate and resolve billing and collection irregularities or enquiries.
• Process adjustments for valid/authorized deductions.
• Manage collections by reviewing payment plans and credit lines to maintain cash flow.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure payments are properly posted.

ROLE

• Maintain the billing system in SAP S/4HANA
• Generate invoices and account statements for energy supplies based on meter readings
• Interact with clients regularly for payment follow‑ups, invoice support, and to share and collect NDCs
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records
• Produce monthly financial and management reports
• Investigate and resolve irregularities or enquiries related to billing and collections
• Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
• Resolve invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
• Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, and credit lines to maintain steady cash flow
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 6 to 8 years of experience in bookkeeping/receivables
• Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
