Job summary

Workday is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash team in India. You will ensure accurate application of customer payments and perform reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

In this hybrid role, you’ll balance in-office collaboration with remote work, spending about half your time meeting with customers, partners, and teams to drive efficient cash flow and resolve payment issues.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, commercial (B2B) collections, or related finance roles.
• Bachelor’s or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely apply customer payments to invoices.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate unidentified or unapplied cash and resolve payment exceptions.

About The Team

The AR team is part of the broader Finance/Order-to-Cash organization and is responsible for safeguarding revenue through effective receivables management. We work closely with cross-functional partners across Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to provide a seamless experience to customers while maintaining financial discipline.

About The Role

Workday is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cash Application Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash (O2C) team. The role will be responsible for accurate and timely application of customer payments, bank and account reconciliations, investigation of unidentified or unapplied cash, and resolution of payment exceptions.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a combination of Accounts Receivable, commercial (B2B) collections, accounting, finance or international business
• Accounting / Finance degree or equivalent level of experience
