Job summary

Atlas HXM is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team in India. You will manage client accounts, monitor AR aging, resolve billing discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve cash flow.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in Billing, Credit Control or Collections, strong Excel skills, and experience with global multi-entity, multi-currency environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with global multi-entity, multi-currency organizations preferred.
  • Strong English communication; other languages a bonus.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, reporting to the Sr Accounts Receivable Manager, you'll help drive healthy cash flow by managing client accounts, resolving billing discrepancies, monitoring outstanding balances, and partnering cross‑functionally to improve collections processes. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow billing procedures, ensure client billing postings are accurate and timely; analyze and reconcile accounts receivables data and transactions in a timely manner; initiate contact with various parties, internal team members, regarding accounts receivable invoices as needed.
  • Ensure the overall receivables cycle is optimized, serving as the liaison in responding to accounts receivable inquiries for the resolution of collection/billing issues, or for information or interpretation from clients.
  • Maintain the AR master data and its accurate records for compliance and operations purposes. Follow the collection of funds process, follow up with customers via email or call, and maintain AR aging reporting.
  • Process refunds and write‑offs as required upon approval
  • Work in a collaborative environment to improve business processes, training materials, data clean‑up, and on‑going support.
  • Maintain and update in‑house application, perform reconciliations in the accounting system
  • Support month end closing, and ad hoc projects as required to support other Finance and Accounting team members
  • Participate in billing system's evolution, be proactive and client‑centric
  • Any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
About You
  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Billing, Credit Control or Collection, Cash Application and working with wide range of foreign customers. Professional services industry experience is preferred.
  • Preference given to the applicant with prior experience in working for a Global Multi Entity, Multi currency organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, business proficiency in English is an essential. Any working knowledge of other language(s) is a bonus.
  • Proficient in using MS Office tools, and strong Excel knowledge is required
  • Hands on experience of Sage Intacct would be a plus
  • Good organizational, time management, customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Data‑driven person and must be detail‑oriented with an eye for recognizing errors and proactively correcting them
  • Willing to work flexible hours as this role reports into a leader in North America
