Job summary

Gudah Consultants in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead Accounts Payable and Record-to-Report functions within a BPO/Shared Services environment.

The ideal candidate will have 14-16+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting Operations, with strong exposure to R2R and P2P workflows, client management, and driving process improvements across multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• 14-16+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting Operations.
• Experience in BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services (GBS).
• Strong exposure to R2R (60%) including GL, Month-End Close, Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.
• Strong exposure to P2P/AP (40%) including Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, AP Controls, and Payment Operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple external clients or accounts.
• Client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in finance transformation, migration, transition, or process excellence.
• Strong people management experience with large operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing and vendor management.
• Oversee Record-to-Report activities including General Ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Drive finance transformation, process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Manage multiple client accounts and build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and operational governance.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs, SLAs, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Lead and mentor large teams, driving performance, engagement, and capability development.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Support transitions, migrations, and stabilization of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution.
• Manage Record-to-Report activities including General Ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Drive finance transformation, process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Manage multiple client accounts and build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance requirements, and operational governance.
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs, SLAs, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics.

• Strong exposure to R2R processes (60%) including General Ledger, Month-End Close, Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting.
• Strong exposure to P2P/AP processes (40%) including Invoice Processing, Vendor Management, AP Controls, and Payment Operations.
• Proven experience managing multiple external clients/accounts.
• Mandatory client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in finance transformation, migration, transition, or process excellence initiatives.

• Prior experience handling manual AP processes.
