Job summary

Work Store Limited in Mumbai is seeking a Lead Accounts Payable to oversee AP and banking activities, manage a small team, and ensure accurate vendor payments and reconciliations.

The role requires 5+ years in AP, a B.Com / CA Inter background, and experience with ERP systems; GST & TDS knowledge is essential. Office-based role in Mahalaxmi area, reporting to Finance Manager.

Dear Folks,

We are looking for Lead Accounts Payable position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounts Payable & Banking activities of the Company.


• Leadership skills to lead team size of 3-5 members.


• Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and financial operations within the company.


• Daily Payment Batch run, review Advance payments & timely escalation handling


• Periodic Vendor Reconciliation (key requirement).


• 3 Way matching System PO, GRN & Invoice


• Well versed with (P2P) Procure to Payment cycle.


• GRN Based Purchase & Expenses Invoice booking.


• Statutory compliances - TDS, PF, PT, ESIC Payments and Return Filing.


• Should have comprehensive Knowledge of GST & TDS


• Should be well versed with Accounting Entries (key requirement).


• Running AP Reports, Advance Reports, GRN reports from System for analysis.


• Manage and Monitor banking activities of the organization.


• Banking Operations (FD Creation, OD creation, Lien Removal, All banking Forms filling etc).


• ERP knowledge is an added advantage (JD Edwards, SAP & Navision preferred).

Educational Qualification

B.Com / CA Inter with 5 to 6 + yrs of experience in Accounts Payable.

Have prior experience of leading a team of 3-4 people
