Job summary

Prasunhomes is seeking an experienced Accounts Head to lead financial operations in Pune district. The role requires 8-15 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management, with hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

You will oversee ledger scrutiny, reporting, budgeting, cash flow planning, and finalization of accounts, while ensuring robust internal controls and audits.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and accurate records.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Assist management in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow, fund flow, and liquidity planning.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: ledgers, entries, billing, AR/AP, inventory, bank reconciliations, and finalization.
• Maintain documentation and internal controls.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management

• Ensure timely statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Assist management in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• .Prepare and monitor cash flow statements, fund flow, and liquidity planning
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, billing, accounts receivable, payables, inventory control,bank reconciliations.and finalization of accounts
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
