Job summary

EXACTUS CORPORATION PVT LTD in Mumbai seeks an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee end-to-end financial accounting, statutory compliance, and daily accounts operations.

You will finalize balance sheets, coordinate audits, manage GST, TDS, PF/ESI filings, and supervise a team while ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence. This role requires strong Tally/ERP and MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• CA-Inter (IPCC/Intermediate) qualified or CA-Final attempted; B.Com/M.Com preferred.
• 5–8+ years of hands-on accounting/finance experience in industry or articleship.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and statutory compliance processes.
• Attention to detail, ownership, and ability to independently manage accounts operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GST/TDS/IncomeTax/PF/ESI returns and statutory filings.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Coordinate audits with statutory and tax authorities.

Job Profile

Accounts Manager

Role Summary

Responsible for end-to-end financial accounting, statutory compliance, and oversight of day-to-day accounts operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence.

Balance Sheet & Financial Closing

• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets and P&L statements
• Ensure accurate ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and closing entries
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, company law, and compliance requirements
• Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections

Accounts Operations

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Supervise day-to-day banking operations, fund transfers, and reconciliations
• Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and collections
• Lead and mentor junior accounts staff; review their work for accuracy

Investments & Treasury

• Manage surplus fund investments (FDs, mutual funds, other instruments)
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements
• Evaluate investment options for optimal returns within risk parameters
• Track investment performance and prepare periodic reports for management

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis for management review
• Support management with financial data for decision-making

Key Skills & Qualifications

• CA-Inter (IPCC/Intermediate) qualified or CA-Final attempted (appeared, not yet qualified); B.Com/M.Com preferred as base degree
• 5-8+ years of hands-on accounting/finance experience, ideally with articleship or industry exposure
• Strong working knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and statutory compliance processes
• Practical exposure to finalization of accounts and audit support
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to independently manage accounts operations
