Job summary

Consult Shekhar Pandey is seeking an Accounts Executive with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setup in Ghaziabad. The role covers day-to-day accounting, maintaining books in Tally, and preparing MIS reports with strong GST compliance awareness.

The ideal candidate will have deep Tally knowledge, Excel proficiency, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, customers, and auditors while supporting month-end and year-end closes.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and routine statutory accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
• Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, management reports and accounting statements.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare ageing reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, auditors and internal departments as required.
• Maintain records relating to inventory, purchases and production accounting, wherever applicable.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit and other compliance requirements.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining books of accounts, MIS reporting, reconciliations and supporting statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of Tally and excellent command over routine accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.


• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.


• Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments and journal entries.


• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.


• Prepare and maintain bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.


• Handle GST-related accounting and documentation, including coordination for returns and reconciliations.


• Prepare monthly MIS reports, management reports and accounting statements.


• Maintain proper documentation and supporting records for all financial transactions.


• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.


• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare ageing reports.


• Coordinate with vendors, customers, auditors and internal departments as required.


• Maintain records relating to inventory, purchases and production accounting, wherever applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Mandatory: Manufacturing industry experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Tally / Tally Prime.


• Good knowledge of day-to-day accounting, ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.


• Experience in preparing MIS and management reports.


• Good working knowledge of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas, etc.


• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and other routine statutory accounting requirements.


• Good understanding of purchase, sales, inventory and vendor/customer accounting.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to independently manage routine accounting operations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, dependable and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Candidates who have worked in manufacturing companies and have independently handled accounting and MIS responsibilities will be preferred.

Candidates from non-manufacturing backgrounds may not be considered.

Candidates residing in or around Ghaziabad, Dasna, Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Noida or nearby areas would be preferred, considering the work location.
