Job summary

P G Bhagwat Llp is seeking an accounting professional to handle day-to-day accounting entries and support audit procedures. Key responsibilities include ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and GST compliance. The candidate should have experience with Tally/ERP and possess strong communication skills. Immediate joining is preferred. This position is based in Pune District, Maharashtra, India.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting entries and ledger maintenance.
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations and GST compliance.
• Assist in audit fieldwork and prepare audit documentation.
• Report findings to supervisors and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day‑to‑day accounting entries and ledger maintenance
• Bank and vendor reconciliations
• GST & TDS support and compliance
• Invoice processing and payment follow‑ups
• MIS reporting, documentation, and audit support
• Assist in audit fieldwork as per senior instructions
• Perform basic audit procedures and verify financial records
• Prepare and organize audit documentation
• Cross‑verify financial data and supporting documents
• Report findings to supervisors and follow up on feedback
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
• Highlight critical issues to reporting manager/partner
• Support knowledge sharing, seminars, and training when required
