Job summary

Kanodia Cement is seeking an Officer (Accounts & Finance) to strengthen the Finance & Accounts function in Noida. The role covers GST, accounts payable, production reporting, vendor management and financial reconciliations in a manufacturing setup.

The candidate will manage vendor bills, payments, GST compliance, TDS, and monthly closings, while coordinating with production teams for DPR and BOM data. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred for this multifaceted position.

Qualifications

• 24 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle vendor bills booking, verification, and timely payments.
• Monitor accounts payable and maintain documentation.
• Prepare vendor payment schedules and coordinate with banking team.
• Manage GST accounting, input tax credit reconciliation, and compliance support.
• Assist GST return data preparation and TDS calculations.
• Account for interest income, recoveries, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in monthly closing and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR) and support BOM data and cost tracking.
• Process service bills against approved service orders and ensure expense accuracy.
• Create vendors in system and prepare vendor ageing reports.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to support the Accounts & Finance function. The role involves managing GST, accounts payable, production reporting, vendor management, and financial reconciliations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Payments

• Handling vendor bills booking, verification, and timely processing of payments
• Monitoring accounts payable and ensuring proper documentation
• Preparing vendor payment schedules and coordinating with the banking team

GST & Taxation

• Managing GST accounting, input credit reconciliation, and compliance support
• Assisting in GST return data preparation
• Handling TDS calculations, deductions, and related reconciliations

Financial Accounting

• Accounting of interest income, recoveries, and other financial transactions
• Assisting in monthly closing and ledger scrutiny
• Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

Production & Cost Coordination

• Preparing and maintaining Daily Production Reports (DPR)
• Working with the production team for BOM (Bill of Materials) data and cost tracking

Service Billing

• Processing service bills against approved service orders
• Ensuring accuracy in service expense booking.

Vendor Management

• Vendor creation in the system with proper documentation
• Preparing vendor ageing reports and follow-up on outstanding balances

Qualifications and Experience:-
