Job summary

Vatika Garden is seeking a reliable Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations as the backbone of our business. You will work closely with the Operations Head and report directly to the Promoter, handling cash, reconciliations, vendor payments, and payroll support.

Candidates with 3–5 years of accounting experience or fresh BCom/MCom (Balangir or Western Odisha) with strong Tally skills are welcome. Proficiency in Excel and GST basics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in restaurant/hospitality/retail/food businesses.
• Fresh BCom or MCom graduates from Balangir or Western Odisha with strong Tally skills will also be considered.

• Daily cash and sales reconciliation
• Maintaining purchase records and vendor payment tracking
• Petty cash management and expense recording
• Tally data entry and bookkeeping
• Stock and inventory record maintenance
• Coordination with external CA for GST and compliance
• Monthly expense and revenue summary preparation

• Basic POS report management and cross verification

Job description

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail oriented Accounts Executive to manage the day to day financial operations of Vatika Garden. This is a critical role you will be the financial backbone of our daily operations working closely with the Operations Head and reporting directly to the Promoter.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cash and sales reconciliation
• Maintaining purchase records and vendor payment tracking
• Petty cash management and expense recording
• Tally data entry and bookkeeping
• Stock and inventory record maintenance
• Coordination with external CA for GST and compliance
• Monthly expense and revenue summary preparation
• Payroll assistance and staff salary records
• Basic POS report management and cross verification

Experience Required

Minimum 3 to 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferably in a restaurant, hotel, retail or food business environment.

Fresh BCom or MCom graduates from Balangir or Western Odisha with strong Tally skills and genuine willingness to learn will also be considered.

Ideal Candidate

• Age 22 to 35 years
• BCom / MCom / BBA Finance or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime - essential
• Basic knowledge of GST filing and compliance
• Honest, accurate, punctual and trustworthy above everything else
• Candidates from Balangir or surrounding districts strongly preferred
• Comfortable with Excel and WhatsApp reporting
• Long term commitment to the role and organisation
