Job summary

Aminu Skincare invites an Accounts/Finance Associate to own day-to-day accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced FMCG startup.

You will work closely with the founders, internal teams, and our CA to ensure accurate reporting, GST/TDS compliance, and smooth financial processes. This role requires independence, attention to detail, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, D2C, or fast-growing startup preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial processes.
• Hands-on with Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
• Proficient in Excel with Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
• Experience with retail billing, invoicing, POS, POs, PIs, and e-invoicing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently.

Job description

We’re looking for an Accounts/ Finance Associate to join AMINU’s finance team and take ownership of day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

This role is suited for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG or startup environment, can manage accounts independently, and enjoys working with numbers, systems, and business data.

You’ll work closely with the founders, internal team, management, and our CA to ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting, and smooth financial operations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Support finalization of accounts in coordination with the CA.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and financial summaries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare trial balances.
• Handle GST compliance and return filing, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
• Calculate and manage TDS and support timely return filing.
• Manage cash transactions and petty cash accounting.
• Handle retail billing, invoicing, POs, PIs, e-invoicing, and related documentation.
• Work with retail billing and POS systems and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Maintain inventory-related entries and track basic stock movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Support audits and provide financial information and reports when required.
• Identify discrepancies and proactively work towards resolving them.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Good understanding of inventory accounting and stock movement.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Work Days: Monday to Saturday
• Timings: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Compensation: Based on experience and skill set
