Job summary

IFB Global is seeking a Chartered Accountant with at least 2 years post articleship experience to manage statutory compliance, accounting functions, and MIS reporting. The role requires strong ERP/ SAP exposure, inventory control, and cost management within a Chennai-based finance team.

The candidate will oversee GL scrutiny, vendor/debtor controls, and support the Sales Team with scheme disbursals while ensuring adherence to internal controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CA with minimum 2 years experience post articleship.
• GST and TDS compliance experience.
• Finalisation of accounts for the branch (monthly/quarterly/yearly).
• MIS reporting and management reporting exposure.
• Inventory control and cost control measures.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory compliance across the state, including GST & TDS.
• Oversee accounting functions and finalisation of monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts for the branch.
• Scrutiny of General Ledgers and month-end closing processes.
• Prepare MIS and other management reports for decision making.
• Maintain inventory control and smooth supply chain operations.
• Implement cost control measures to improve profitability.
• Process scheme disbursal and prepare tie-up letters with Sales Team.
• Adhere to internal controls and established processes.

Role & responsibilities

a. Ensure statutory compliance of the state. Very good knowledge of GST & TDS.

b. Oversee Accounting function & finalisation of monthly/qtly/yearly accounts for branch.

c. Scrutiny of GLs.

d. MIS & other management reports preparation.

e. Inventory control & maintenance of smooth supply chain.

f. Cost control/reduction & measures to enhance profitability.

g. Scheme disbursal & formulation of tie-up letters along with Sales Team.

h. Adherence to company laid out processes and ensuring internal financial control is maintained.

i. Vendor Control/Debtor Control.

1. SAP Experience not mandatory but preferred. However, experience with working in ERP is essential.

2. Travelling will be as per requirements.

3. IT proficiency: MS Office (expert command); command over Excel/Word & Powerpoint is required.
