Job summary

ABB is seeking a finance professional for the Account team in Bengaluru on a fixed-term contract. The role handles order-to-cash activities, including payment processing, reconciliations, and monthly AR closings, with exposure to SAP and Oracle systems. Flexibility for shifts is required.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce and 2–3 years of O2C experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2–3 years of experience in Order to Cash (O2C) including reconciliation, reporting and accounting.
• SAP ERP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming payments (Cheque/RTGS/NEFT/Wire/ACH/Lockbox).
• Review and manage customer accounts; clear invoices against payments.
• Follow-up and resolve unapplied cash by applying it to AR items.
• Analyze open credits and apply to open AR items.
• Perform AR monthly closing activities and GL AR reconciliations.
• Establish cooperative relationships with business controllers.
