ABB Bangalore Hub is seeking an experienced Accounting and Reporting – SME to lead country-specific GA activities and R2R processes. You will act as the subject matter expert for R2R, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely closes, while coordinating with Inter-company, AP, and AR teams.

A strong control mindset and SAP proficiency are essential. The role requires 10–12 years in accounting/finance, with ABB experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 10–12 years in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and journal entries; ABB experience is a plus (4–6 years).
• Experience in Record to Report is required.
• Flexible to work in any shift timings.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a must.

• Act as first point of contact for country/business controllers to provide accounting/reporting support.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for all the Accounting and Reporting related topic for a specific country/ Cluster and also our subject Matter expert focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of Accounting and reporting and also involved in training individuals and team of people on related accounting topics within the General Accounting (GA) team. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirementsThe work model for the role is: HybridThis role is contributing to the : Finance Business FunctionYou will be mainly accountable for:· Monitor and managing the Accounting & Reporting activity of specific countries / cluster of countries and ensuring timely recording of all General accounting activities and transactions in CFIN/ ERP.· Work as subject matter expert for R2R matters and guide fellow team members to achieve timely and quality financial reporting· Coordinating with business, Inter-company, AP, AR teams on regular basis to clear quality checks related to Group and Management reporting.· Performing Balance sheet reconciliation and closing aged items within the SLA timelines.· Work as a first point of contact for country/business controllers and provide accounting/reporting support and guidance.· Strong hold of internal control framework.
