Job summary

RRD GO Creative in Chennai is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate for its shared services team. The ideal candidate has a BCom and 2–4 years in Billing/Accounts Receivable within the O2C domain, with the ability to support US timing in the evening shift.

You'll review unbilled revenue, analyze days to bill, resolve bottlenecks with stakeholders, act as SME, and drive process improvements and automation while supporting month-end and quarter-end closing timelines.

Qualifications

• BCom degree with strong academic background.
• 2–4 years in Billing/Accounts Receivable (O2C), with complex billing experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and end-to-end O2C understanding.
• Flexibility to work evening shift for US timing.

Responsibilities

• Review unbilled status and implement controls to minimize unbilled revenue.
• Analyze Days to Bill (DTB), identify gaps, and reduce turnaround time.
• Follow up with stakeholders to obtain inputs and resolve billing bottlenecks.
• Act as SME, guide team, resolve process issues, and standardize best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams during process transitions.
• Drive process improvements and automation to boost efficiency.
• Support month-end and quarter-end billing activities.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Commerce (BCom.) or equivalent, with strong academic background.

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Billing / Accounts Receivable (O2C domain), preferably in handling complex billing processes.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end O2C
• Flexible to work in the evening shift to support US timing

Key Responsibilities

• Review Unbilled status regularly and implement control measures to minimize unbilled revenue.
• Analyze and monitor Days to Bill (DTB), identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to reduce turnaround time.
• Proactively follow up with stakeholders to obtain necessary inputs and resolve billing bottlenecks.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by guiding team members, resolving process issues, and standardizing best practices.
• Partner with clients and internal teams during process transitions, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and delivery.
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support month-end and quarter-end activities, ensuring billing completeness and compliance with timelines.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Billing and AR processes within the O2C cycle.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, and exposure to ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and adapt to client demands.
• Flexible to work in evening shift (5.30 Pm to 2.30 Pm)
