Qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in US IT Staffing/Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP/AR, payroll, billing, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Experience with US staffing accounting, consultant payroll/billing, C2C/W2/1099 is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of TDS and Indian statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Handle AP, AR, invoicing, vendor payments, collections, and client billing.
• Track consultant timesheets, pay rates, bill rates, expenses, payroll, and margins.
• Coordinate payroll processing, deductions, and tax withholdings.

Position: Accountant - US IT Staffing

Experience: 2-5 years

Location: Vijayawada

We are looking for an Accountant with 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in US IT Staffing / US IT Consulting. The candidate will be responsible for general accounting, AP/AR, payroll, financial reporting, compliance, and staffing-related financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Handle AP, AR, invoicing, vendor payments, collections, and client billing.
• Track consultant timesheets, pay rates, bill rates, expenses, payroll, and margins.
• Support C2C, W2, and 1099 consultant billing/payroll processes.
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, MIS, and other financial reports.
• Coordinate payroll processing, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Support Indian statutory compliance, TDS calculations, payments, and returns.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audits, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with US-based teams, clients, vendors, consultants, HR, Payroll, and Operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in US IT Staffing/Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, AP, AR, payroll, billing, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Experience with US staffing accounting, consultant payroll/billing, C2C/W2/1099 is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of TDS and Indian statutory compliance.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work US business hours.
