Murhopye Scientific Equipments Pvt Ltd in Mysuru, India, is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance and payroll activities. The role covers cost accounting, inventory, and coordination with auditors and internal departments.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Com/M.Com with extensive exposure to manufacturing accounting, ERP software and statutory requirements, ensuring timely financial reporting and strict adherence to deadlines.

Qualificações

• B.Com / M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 35 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
• Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and statutory accounting procedures.
• Experience in inventory accounting, material reconciliation, production costing and manufacturing accounts.
• Working knowledge of payroll accounting and EPF, ESI and Professional Tax compliance will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, numerical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records, meet deadlines and coordinate effectively with production, purchase, stores and management teams.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in a manufacturing company will be preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain day-to-day accounting, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal entries and ledger reconciliation.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Maintain purchase bills, sales invoices, expense records and other financial documents.
• Manage GST compliance, including GST data preparation, input tax credit reconciliation and coordination for GST returns.
• Assist with TDS calculations, deductions, payments and return-related documentation.
• Handle payroll accounting and coordinate EPF, ESI and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Maintain inventory accounting, stock records and reconciliation of physical stock with book balances.
• Monitor raw material consumption, production costs, work-in-progress and finished goods valuation.
• Assist in product costing, job costing, cost analysis and preparation of manufacturing cost statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, trial balance, profit and loss statements and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, suppliers and internal departments.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory activities.
