Meeravi Hr Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented accounts professional for a premium fine jewellery brand in South Mumbai. You will manage daily entries, GST filings, and export documentation, handling valuable inventory with discretion and accuracy.

You will maintain Tally books, track gold/diamond stock, file GST, prepare export invoices, and coordinate with vendors and auditors. A commerce/ accounting degree and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A graduate in commerce, accounting or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
• Hands-on GST filing and reconciliation experience.
• Experience in gold and diamond jewellery accounting and export documentation preferred.
• Highly organised with strong numerical accuracy.
• Extremely trustworthy, discreet and reliable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the books of accounts in Tally with daily entries and month-end closing.
• Track gold and diamond stock by weight and purity and reconcile with books.
• Prepare and file GST returns and maintain compliant GST records.
• Prepare export invoices and documentation for international shipments.
• Manage vendor payments and reconcile ledgers for timely payouts.
• Update jewellery pricing reports covering gold rate, costs and margins.
• Support TDS and other statutory compliances and coordinate with auditors.
• Share regular financial reports with the Founder and flag discrepancies.

About our client

Our client is one of India's earliest lab-grown diamond jewellery brands, established in 2018. They design fine jewellery in 14kt and 18kt solid gold with IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds, with a modern aesthetic created for the women of today. Their pieces are sold online and through client appointments, and they ship to customers in India and overseas.

About the role

You will own the day-to-day accounts of a growing jewellery business, from gold and diamond stock records to GST filings and export paperwork. This is a position of real trust: you will handle sensitive financial information and valuable inventory records, so accuracy, discretion and reliability matter most.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the books of accounts in Tally, including daily entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Handle gold accounting: track gold and diamond stock by weight and purity, record issues and receipts with vendors and karigars, and reconcile physical stock with the books
• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile input tax credit, and keep GST records compliant and up to date
• Prepare export invoices and documentation for international shipments, coordinate with couriers and freight partners, and track export payments received
• Manage vendor payments: maintain payment schedules, reconcile vendor ledgers, and ensure timely and accurate payouts
• Prepare and update the jewellery pricing report, covering gold rate, diamond cost, making charges and margins
• Support TDS and other statutory compliances, and coordinate with the external CA or auditor on filings and audit
• Share regular financial reports with the Founder and flag any discrepancies early

Who we are looking for

• A graduate in commerce, accounting or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel
• Hands-on experience with GST filing and reconciliation
• Experience in gold and diamond jewellery accounting and export documentation is preferred
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
