About the Role

We are a growing e-commerce business operating across leading online marketplaces and corporate B2B channels. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead our financial operations, strengthen financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in e-commerce accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and marketplace reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and working capital management.
• Marketplace Reconciliation: Reconcile sales, settlements, commissions, returns, refunds, penalties, advertising expenses, and other deductions across platforms such as Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon, Ajio, Nykaa, and Shopify.
• GST & Tax Compliance: Manage GST returns, TDS compliance, income tax filings, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and other statutory requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Inventory Accounting: Maintain accurate inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, cost of goods sold, purchase accounting, and inventory movement records across warehouses and sales channels.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Profitability Analysis: Analyze platform-wise, channel-wise, and SKU-wise profitability to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve margins.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate statutory and internal audits, maintain financial documentation, and implement effective accounting controls.
• Strategic Planning: Support budgeting, pricing decisions, vendor payments, working capital optimization, and long-term financial planning.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in e‑commerce, online retail, marketplace accounting, or B2B business operations.
• Strong knowledge of GST, taxation, financial auditing, and statutory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high‑volume transactions, multiple sales channels, and strict reporting deadlines.
