Job summary

NCS & Co in Bengaluru is seeking an Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, compliance, and reporting for an NBFC-HFC client. You will work under supervision of a CA and coordinate month-end activities with management.

1+ year in NBFC or BFSI with strong Tally exposure is preferred; familiarity with RBI formats and regulatory norms is a plus. Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in Tally (vouchers, ledgers, bank reconciliation, journal entries).
• Support Group-level financial reporting — consolidation inputs, MIS schedules, and periodic reporting to the parent/group entity.
• Handle TDS and GST compliance end-to-end: computation, return filing, reconciliation with books, and resolving mismatches.
• Ensure adherence to statutory accounting compliance (Companies Act, Income Tax, applicable NBFC regulatory norms).
• Coordinate closely with the Assistant Manager / reporting manager for month-end and audit closures.
• Exposure to NBFC-specific accounting — loan accounting, provisioning (ECL/NPA classification basics), RBI-mandated reporting formats is a strong plus.

Role Description:

The Accountant will be responsible end-to-end accounting, compliance and reporting requirements at one of our NBFC-HFC client. The role shall require the candidate to work under the guidance of CA and shall work with the management on day-to-day affairs of the HFC.
