Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our finance team as Manager – US Accounting. The role will be responsible for managing US accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance for NBFC-related activities. The candidate will work closely with US stakeholders and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end US accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with US financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Manage accounting for loan portfolios, interest income recognition, and provisions within the NBFC structure.
• Coordinate with US stakeholders, auditors, and finance teams for reporting and compliance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles.
• Review accounts payable, receivable, and treasury transactions.
• Implement process improvements and automation in accounting workflows.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation.
• Mentor and manage a small team of accountants or analysts.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience in NBFC, lending, fintech, or financial services accounting.
