Qualifications

• 6+ years of total experience with a strong background in Payment Systems and the Indian payments ecosystem.
• Experience in software development and project/account management.
• Proven ability to engage with financial institutions, banks, and senior management up to CXO level.

Responsibilities

• Client Expectation & Project Alignment: Work with TPMs to define full project schedules and maintain transparent client expectations.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with customer teams to understand priorities and expand engagement.
• Routine Engagements: Lead daily stand-ups with customer teams and weekly status updates across all account projects.
• Account Expansion: Identify teams not in scope and bring them into active engagement.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Software Delivery team in Pune. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between our customers and internal delivery teams. You will set and manage client expectations in the context of software delivery, build transparent, long-term relationships with financial institutions, and identify strategic growth opportunities for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Expectation & Project Alignment: Work closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) to provide inputs for full project schedules while setting, handling, and maintaining transparent client expectations.

• Customer Relationship Management: Partner directly with customer teams to understand their priorities and pain points, building lasting relationships that expand overall engagement.

• Routine Engagements: Host daily stand-up meetings with key customer management teams and lead weekly project status update meetings across all account projects.

• Account Expansion: Work across the customer organization to identify teams or areas not currently in scope and help bring them into the active engagement.

Requirements & Skills

• Domain Experience: 6+ years of total experience with a strong background in Payment Systems and the Indian payments ecosystem.

• Technical Background: Prior hands-on experience in software development during your career, alongside a track record in project and account management.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build relationships with financial institutions, banks, and senior management up to the CXO level.

• Education & Certifications: BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, or MCA. PMP or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
