Job summary

Vasa Industries Safety in Maharashtra seeks an experienced Accounts Head to oversee day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, and financial reporting for a manufacturing setup. You will lead a team, ensure internal controls, coordinate with banks and auditors, and drive monthly closings and MIS.

Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification;
• Strong experience in financial reporting, MIS, cash flow management, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and ledger maintenance in Tally Prime.
• Perform bank reconciliation, customer and vendor ledger reconciliation, and GSTR-2B reconciliation.
• Handle GST compliance, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and quarterly TDS return filing.
• Maintain inventory records and coordinate with purchase, stores, and production teams for stock reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports covering sales, expenses, profitability, receivables, payables, and inventory.
• Prepare monthly cash flow statements and projections, and conduct financial ratio analysis.
• Coordinate with banks, the Company's Chartered Accountant, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Assist in financial statement preparation, audit requirements, statutory compliance, and monthly closing.
• For the Accounts Head position, supervise the accounts team, review financial reports, monitor working capital, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insights to management.
