• Ensure GST compliance, returns, reconciliations, and filings.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and coordinate with auditors, banks, and authorities.
• Oversee import accounting, customs documentation, and related financial processes.

Job Title: Accounts Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned

Accounts Manager to lead and manage the organization's accounting operations with strong expertise in finance, taxation, imports, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely closures, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely book closures.
• Handle GST compliance, returns, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (GAAP), taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage import accounting, customs documentation, duty accounting, and related financial processes.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and accounting accuracy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Interact confidently with customers, vendors, and senior management on commercial and financial matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong expertise in General Ledger Accounting and financial closures.
• Hands-on knowledge of GST, Indian GAAP, and statutory compliances.
• Practical experience in Import Accounting and Customs Clearance processes.
• Proficient in Tally ERP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Financial Reporting).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
• CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com would be an added advantage.
