Job summary

Petra Silicon in Hyderabad, India, is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the manufacturing facility's accounting operations. The role requires strong costing knowledge, GST, TDS, budgeting, and statutory compliance, with leadership of a small accounts team.

You will oversee day-to-day financial activities, prepare statements, monitor plant-level expenses, manage vendor payments, and coordinate with auditors and government departments while delivering timely financial

Qualifications

• CA Inter or equivalent with strong accounting background.
• MBA (Finance) or CMA preferred for strategic finance roles.
• M.Com with substantial experience also acceptable.
• Knowledge of Tally ERP/SAP and MS Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, ledger management and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax filings and ensure statutory compliance.
• Supervise inventory valuation, costing and audit coordination.
• Monitor plant-level expenses, vendor payments and project cost tracking.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers and government departments.
• Maintain internal controls and drive process improvements.
• Lead a small accounts team and report financial insights to senior management.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the accounting operations at our manufacturing facility in HYDERABAD The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Costing accounting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance with prior experience in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger management, and cash flow
  
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax filings, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements
  
• Supervise inventory valuation, costing, and audit coordination
  
• Monitor plant-level expenses, vendor payments, and project cost tracking
  
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and government departments
  
• Maintain internal controls, ensure accuracy of accounting records, and identify process improvements
  
• Manage a small accounts team and report financial insights to senior management
  

Key Requirements:

• Education: CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CMA preferred
  
• Experience: 10+ years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing setup
  
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / MS Excel
  
• Excellent understanding of costing, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance
  
• Fluent in Telugu
